Light Rosa Houdy granite has an easily installing process through the following steps:

1.Preparation of Subfloor

• Before installing granite floors, the subfloor must be levelled and smoothed.
• Before cleaning the subfloor, the paints and sealants should be thoroughly scraped off using sandpaper.
• Uneven flooring can cause cracks and other weak spots in the granite floors. This may also have an effect on the strength and vitality of the granite floors.
• Seal and fill all cracks and crevices if you’re swiftly laying granite floors over concrete floors.
• Fill up all cracks and crevices and remove any debris to guarantee that the granite flooring is properly secured.
• If the granite floors are to be connected to the old floors, postpone putting the ancient tiles entirely.

2.Laying of the Granite Tiles

·         The tile used in the flooring installation must have a 90-degree corner. If the room is larger, you can utilize tile spacers to obtain an idea of the size of the tiles you’ll need to cut.

3. Application and preparation of mortar

• The granite flooring must be placed using a specific mortar. To achieve the desired consistency, mix 1 part cement and 5 parts sand with water.

·         A trowel is used to achieve a thickness of 6mm to 8mm.

4.Granite Flooring Installation

• To ensure that the Granite tiles are aligned, they are laid on the ground with a plastic spacer.
• Place the granite tiles on top of the ground and press firmly on all corners to ensure that there are no voids at the base of the granite flooring.

•      Lightly tap the tile with the rubber mallet to ensure that it is completely bonded to the mortar.

5.Application of Grout Over Tiles

• Grout is applied to the areas between the two tiles to form a strong bond.

•      Allow the grout to fully cure before cleaning the tiles. Grouts are made in small quantities and must be used within 15 to 20 minutes of being made.

6.Cleaning and Sealing

• The granite tile installation procedure culminates with the granite floor being washed and finished so that it is ready for usage.
• Use a sponge and warm water to clean the granite flooring, brushing away all dirt and debris.
• In general, dark granite no longer requires sealing, but a few light hues do since it helps to beautify and shine the flooring.
• As a consequence, the granite floors have been installed and are ready for usage.
